Silent hill shattered memories1/30/2024 probably the only thing that i liked about this game. To those who are into silent hill or horror games, then i suggest NOT to think of this as a Silent Hill game or else you’ll just end up being disappointed. they want us to emerge with the world of silent hill as a helpless …. they want to let the players experience its horrors without the ability of fighting your fears. ![]() I get the idea on why they did this experimental piece of garbage. My point is: even though harry can break down doors with ease and climb over fences like a pro parkourist, and he can’t trucking kill or attack any one of these creatures…. Second is you run around fleeing from enemies opening door after door after door and so on and so forth… which was the first thing that any silent hill fan would be looking forward to… and they just took it out thinking,”Hmmm… let’s take out any means of fighting for survival and make players run like a bitch for the rest of the game.” The first thing that i find strange is they took out the combat system. If this were a different game that had nothing to do with the series then i could care less about it for being what it is. Now, this isn’t a bad game, its just that they labeled this as a Silent Hill game which doesn’t even come close to the first silent hill on the PlayStation. Unlike its psx counterpart, this re-imagined remake is just a disappointment to the whole Silent Hill series. ![]() The facial movements are quite impressive as far as in-game cut scenes goes. the frame rate can get a bit sluggish once the screen is starting to get filled up with stuff. Pretty nice and it has great attention to detail. We're just getting started… Mason a loving father finds himself lost in the town called Silent Hill while searching for his lost daughter Cheryll.ĭuring his search, strange unexplained happenings occurs while the locals seemed oblivious to what’s happening, harry then soon realize that the town isn’t what it seemed to be as it transforms turning the quiet town into a glacial nightmare. Nothing but appreciation for our fans over the past 30 Years. And given that Mortal Kombat II‘s anniversary hits later this year (November, to be exact), it’d be a perfect way to celebrate with a new entry. What we do know is that Mortal Kombat 12 is coming later this year, thanks to a leaked investor’s call a few months ago. It’s obviously not clear at this point what Boon’s plans are for the story, and whether we’d be getting a “retelling” a la 2011’s Mortal Kombat that reset the current timeline, or a continuation of MK11‘s story. The Hourglass was further expanded upon in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. The camera zooms in on a single grain of sand, which explodes in something resembling The Big Bang.Īdding to the significance of the sequence is the main antagonist of Mortal Kombat 11 and Keeper of Time, Kronika, used an Hourglass that had the potential to rewind time (and potentially rewrite history). From there, the video cuts to a sequence showing sand falling in an hourglass. And in typical Ed Boon fashion, he ended the video by saying that the team are “not quite done yet”. Yesterday, the Mortal Kombat Twitter account posted a video which featured several members of the development team thanking players for supporting the series for 30 years. And while we don’t have any news as of yet regarding the twelfth entry in the series, a new video appears to hint at what’s to come. NetherRealm is stil playing coy when it comes to the next entry for Mortal Kombat. TFW an interviewer asks what you'd do to make a Shattered Memories follow-up today but you can't tell them because you're currently pitching that thing /ztnbcjjBck ![]() The game is a reimagining of the first installment of the series, keeping the premise of writer Harry Mason looking for his daughter in Silent Hill after a car crash, although it leads into a different plot. The original Shattered Memories debuted on the Nintendo Wii back in 2009, with PSP and PlayStation 2 ports the following year. Is this enough to convince Konami to open the doors to giving us another entry? We’ll have to see. Barlow has recently seen a recent success with Her Story and Telling Lies, with both narrative video games earning praise for their stories. While there’s not much to this other than creator Sam Barlow tweeting that he is currently trying to pitch the idea to the higher-ups at Konami, at least Barlow has some stroke, as they say. This one comes from the the creator behind Silent Hill: Shattered Memories himself, who dropped a not-so-subtle hint that he’s been pushing for a follow-up to Shattered Memories. Add another rumour to the pile of rumours regarding Konami working on a new entry in the Silent Hill series.
